Selection of optimum materials, knowledge of material specifications and part numbers, and ability to accurately assign necessary materials to relevant engineering documents. \nFabrication: Will be trained on Samuel’s fabrication methods. Basic capabilities and limitations of shop equipment should be utilized to determine to most effective means of product fabrication.\nComputer Knowledge: Must be fluent with basic operation of word processing and spreadsheet programs. \nCalculations: Must have basic knowledge of statics, mechanics of materials, and be able to complete appropriate design calculations. Must become proficient with the use of pressure vessel calculation software.\nOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nSOFTWARE/EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:\nMust have proficient knowledge of CAD (Inventor preferred)\nMicrosoft Office Applications\n IFS or similar ERP system\n Desired to have basic understanding of shop equipment and machinery capabilities.\nROLE REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.\nUnderstanding and support of company policies and procedures. \nAbility to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.\nMust be able to read blueprints.\nMust be in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or Associates Degree in Mechanical field.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nJob is mostly in an office environment which will be mostly standing and sitting.
