Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift.\nHydrostatically tests tanks by plugging openings and filling each tank with water and pressure. \nVisually checks each tank for leaks and identifies leaks by marking the shell. \nProperly and safely operate hydro test and pneumatic testing equipment.\nVisually inspects tank’s fitting and brackets for proper welds. Hand stamps all tested tanks with assigned letter. Records required tank information on hydro data sheet, using the weld inspection report\nChips slag and welding from around fittings and brackets when tank is being filled with water. Notifies Supervisor when plastic plugs, O-rings and other materials reaches re-ordering points. \nHolds necessary welding certification, as required to repair all manufactured products.\nAttaches data plates as necessary.\nInspection of hydro testing equipment for proper operation before \nMaintain all appropriate paperwork relating to testing practices. \nPreforms housekeeping and other related duties.\nMaterial handling - operation of cranes, hoist, and forklifts when necessary. Also successfully complete any training/safety program relating to the operation of the equipment.\nAdhere to and abide by all ITAR-specific job standards and training. Protect and properly safeguard ITAR-sensitive information and work product; ensure dissemination or disclosure of and access to “protected data” occurs only with those trained and approved for exposure to ITAR content.\nIMMEDIATELY notify Supervisor/Manager, Human Resources, Legal (email: ) or the Samuel Ethics Alert Hotline of known or suspected unauthorized disclosure, release of or access to protected ITAR content. \nEQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:\nTraining on all pneumatic and hydro testing equipment.\nVarious types of fillets, groove, and multi-use weld gauges.\nSafety checks and other housekeeping tasks. \nROLE REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work will in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.\nUnderstanding and support of Company policies and procedures. \nAbility to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.\nMust have reading, writing and simple math skills.\nMust be able to read blueprints.\n4-1 short circuit transfer GMAW. 1G Minimum (if applicable)\nMust have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment. \nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be certified to operate all hydro stations.\nMust be certified to operate large diameter test station Building 2\nMust be certified on the passivation of Stainless-Steel vessels.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
