Responsibilities\nCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including customer pickups and outside-carrier loads.\nBuild loads through the D365 load-planning workbench and release completed work to the warehouse.\nMaintain appointment schedules and confirm outbound appointments.\nCreate load lists, pick lists, packing slips, bills of lading, work reports, and other required shipping documentation.\nVerify that completed loads and supporting documentation are accurate.\nMatch, print, organize, and distribute Material Test Reports and packing slips for applicable loads.\nCommunicate shipment details, shortages, errors, incomplete orders, and other issues to supervisors, sales, purchasing, and other relevant parties.\nCoordinate loading times and provide drivers and dispatchers with accurate load information.\nDirect drivers within the facility, assign trucks for loading, and complete the driver checkout process using signed documentation.\nReceive materials against purchase orders and create inventory tags for material identification and put-away.\nMonitor sales orders and return-material activity, including requesting and completing Return Material Authorizations.\nPrepare documentation for scrap shipments and accurately record weights and tare information.\nMaintain accurate trailer, shipping, LPPA, and related spreadsheet records.\nRespond to calls, emails, and Teams messages regarding customer orders and shipment issues.\nWork closely with plant supervisors, warehouse personnel, load planners, sales representatives, and purchasing.\nIdentify issues, make timely decisions, and submit IT support tickets when necessary.\nBalance shipping and receiving priorities to support customer requirements.\nFollow and promote all plant health and safety policies, quality requirements, and established work procedures.\nAssist managers and supervisors with operational requirements as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQuality Responsibilities\nIdentify and document product, process, or quality-system concerns.\nTake appropriate action to help prevent non-conformities.\nRecommend or initiate solutions through designated channels.\nHelp prevent the further processing or delivery of non-conforming products until deficiencies have been corrected.\nFollow all Shipping and Receiving Control Plans, N299 requirements, Aerospace Quality Management System requirements, customer specifications, and company procedures to ensure the accurate handling, traceability, quality, and compliance of aerospace products and materials.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPrevious shipping, receiving, load-building, logistics, or warehouse coordination experience is preferred.\nIntermediate computer skills.\nExperience using D365 or another enterprise resource planning or warehouse-management system is an asset.\nAbility to prepare and review bills of lading, packing slips, load lists, and related shipping documentation.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills in English.\nStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.\nKnowledge of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.\nDemonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and customer service.\nExperience working with ferrous or non-ferrous coil and sheet products is an asset.\nThe expected compensation range for this position is $48,880 - $61,100. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
