This position combines videography and post-production responsibilities, with a focus on creating compelling visual stories that enhance fan engagement and showcase the team, players, and organization.\nWorking collaboratively with internal departments, the Videographer/Editor will support a variety of video projects, including Gulls All Access, social media content, promotional videos, and live event coverage. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong technical production skills who thrives in a fast-paced, professional sports environment.\nResponsibilities\nCapture, produce, and edit high-quality video content for the San Diego Gulls, including Gulls All Access, social media, San Diego Gulls community events, marketing campaigns, broadcast programming, and in-arena game presentation.\nManage video projects through all stages of production, including planning, filming, editing, color correction, audio mixing, and final delivery.\nCollaborate with Public Relations, Broadcast, Marketing, Game Operations, and other internal departments to develop and execute creative video content that supports organizational initiatives.\nFilm team activities, player interviews, practices, games, community events, and other team-related content as needed.\nOperate and maintain professional video cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment in studio, arena, and field environments.\nEdit and deliver video content tailored to various platforms, ensuring consistent quality, branding, and technical specifications.\nSupport game-day production and live event coverage, including capturing footage and developing content for in-arena entertainment and fan engagement.\nContribute creative ideas and storytelling concepts to enhance the team's visual content, brand presence, and overall fan experience.\nOrganize, catalog, and maintain video footage and digital assets to ensure efficient workflows and long-term accessibility.\nManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting production schedules and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of professional experience.\nMinimum of two (2) year of professional experience in videography, video editing, or video production.\nExperience producing content in a professional or collegiate sports environment preferred.\nExperience with hockey-related content preferred but not required.\nPortfolio or demo reel demonstrating proficiency in videography, editing, and visual storytelling preferred.\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and post-production workflows.\nKnowledge of professional video cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, and production techniques for studio, field, and live event environments.\nStrong visual storytelling abilities with an understanding of composition, pacing, music, and graphic design.\nKnowledge of digital video formats, technical specifications, and delivery requirements for broadcast, websites, social media, and in-arena presentation.\nAbility to conceptualize and execute creative video projects independently and collaboratively.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain organized digital media assets.\nExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing needs, and meet strict deadlines.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.\nCreative, resourceful, and self-motivated with a passion for sports, entertainment, and fan engagement.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.\nFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including San Diego Gulls home games and other team events as required.\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\nEducation -
