Working closely with experienced engineers across our global team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, monitoring tools, and incident management while helping ensure a seamless experience for our customers.\nWhy This Role Matters\nOur customers rely on Sana Commerce to run their businesses every day. As a Junior SRE, you'll be on the front line of keeping our platform healthy, responding to incidents, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring issues are addressed before they impact our customers.\nWhat you’ll get:\nThe opportunity to make an impact at a fast-growing SaaS scale-up; \nA global and customized onboarding program (9,1/10 rated by previous hires); \nWorking closely with global leaders on strategic initiatives;\nA hybrid working model - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home;\n What you'll be doing:\nPlatform monitoring & incident response\nMonitor the health and performance of our platform using tools such as Dynatrace, identifying and responding to alerts and potential issues.\nProvide first-line technical support by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues received through support tickets and calls.\nRespond to infrastructure and application incidents, including traffic spikes, bot activity, and high resource consumption.\nCollaborate with senior engineers, vendors, and other IT teams to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.\nCloud infrastructure & system support\nSupport and troubleshoot our cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Windows Servers, Azure SQL, and Kubernetes (AKS).\nHelp maintain the stability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications.\nWork with Fastly (WAF/CDN) to investigate and mitigate abnormal traffic and bot activity.\nMonitor, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates to maintain secure platform operations.\nAutomation & continuous improvement\nDevelop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.\nContribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing initiatives.\nSupport infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, Azure optimizations, and system maintenance.\nCollaborate with the team to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response processes.\nGlobal collaboration & on-call support\nWork closely with our international infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations across different time zones.\nParticipate in scheduled shifts and paid weekend on-call rotations to support platform availability and timely incident response.\nCommunicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, providing clear updates on incidents and their resolution.\nWhat you'll bring:\nA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant practical experience.\nIdeally 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and related services.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, DNS, IIS, MSSQL, or Azure SQL.\nA basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).\nExposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.\nFamiliarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or shell scripting.\nA strong troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to investigate technical issues, think logically, and remain calm under pressure.\nGood communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop your technical expertise.\nFlexibility to work in scheduled shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications, such as AZ-900 or AZ-104, are considered a plus.\nOur values\nAt Sana Commerce, our values guide everything we do:\nChampions of Our League - We balance quick wins with long-term success. \nSupercharge Our Customers - We help our customers succeed by continuously improving their digital commerce experience. \nDetermined to Grow - We embrace challenges and keep raising the bar. \nBold Together - We achieve more by supporting one another. \nJob descriptions don’t cover everything.
