Candidate should be comfortable working across the complete data lifecycle (Source data to BI Layer)\nWhat you'll do\n1. Data Engineering & Microsoft Fabric\nDevelop data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory / Data Pipelines.\nBuild and manage Lakehouse-based data platforms.\nWork with OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Spark, and SQL. • Implement Bronze, Silver, Gold / Curated data layers.\nBuild reusable and scalable data ingestion and transformation processes.\nWork with structured and semi-structured data from multiple source systems. • Implement incremental loads, historical data processing, and data refresh strategies. • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve failures.\n2. ETL / ELT & Data Transformation\nDevelop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.\nPerform data cleansing, validation, standardization, and enrichment.\nDevelop transformations using SQL and PySpark/Python.\nImplement appropriate error handling, logging, and monitoring.\nOptimize pipeline performance and processing time.\nSupport large datasets and historical data requirements.\n3. Data Modeling & Data Mart Development\nDevelop fact and dimension tables using star-schema principles.\nBuild analytical data marts for different business domains.\nApply appropriate normalization and denormalization techniques.\nCreate reusable and trusted datasets for BI and analytics.\nEnsure consistent business logic and KPI definitions.\nWork with stakeholders to translate business requirements into appropriate data models.\n4. Power BI & BI Development\nDesign and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.\nDevelop optimized Power BI semantic models.\nBuild appropriate relationships between fact and dimension tables.\nDevelop DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.\nUse Power Query for data preparation where required.\nImplement appropriate Power BI visualization and dashboard design.\nDevelop drill-downs, drill-throughs, filters, tooltips, bookmarks, and interactive reporting experiences.\nOptimize Power BI reports and semantic models for performance.\nWork with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements. • Convert business requirements into meaningful dashboards and insights..\n5.
