We will make adjustments throughout your application process, in line with Sanctuary’s commitment to our Disability Confident employer status\nEstate Technician\nSheffield\n£26,503 - £27,898 per year\n40 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm\nWe are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Voids team covering the Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire areas. For this role you will be responsible for clearing and final clearing for voids properties. This includes clearing, cutting grass, pruning and landscape works to void gardens and assisting the wider void team to enable properties are handed back to the lettable standard in a timely manner.\nThe ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate that they are able to adapt to the demands, challenges and changes of the role whilst showing confidence to work within a customer-based environment. Appropriate and additional training will be given to the successful candidate to ensure they are competent to carry out their role.\nThe role of Estate Technicianwill include:\nUndertaking grounds maintenance duties\nAssisting with general cleaning and clearing of communal areas within Voids properties\nCompleting daily work records and maintaining stock levels\nResponding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations\nEnsuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition\nWorking with customers to resolve issues and improve services\nProviding accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work\nSkills and experiences:\nBritish institute certificate in cleaning services (BICS) \nNVQ 2 in Horticulture or similar or willing to work towards\nPesticide Application Certificate PA1 - PA6 or willing to work towards\nWorking knowledge and experience of caretaking, general cleaning, reporting of repairs, fencing and paving\nExcellent interpersonal and customer care skills\nA working knowledge of health and safety regulations\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
