We will make adjustments throughout your application process, in line with Sanctuary’s commitment to our Disability Confident employer status.\nGas Engineer\nCovering Worcester, Hereford and surrounding areas\n£44,458 per annum\n40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus call out duties (currently 1 day in 9)\nWe are looking for a highly motivated Gas Engineer to join our Gas Operations team, covering Worcester, Hereford and surrounding areas. You will carry out the service and repair of domestic gas appliances. You will be provided with a company van and power tools needed for the job. You will also be issued with an iPhone and tablet which links to our systems including scheduling and fault reporting.\nThe role of Gas Engineerwill include:\nCarrying out the service and repair of domestic gas appliances\nProviding accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed\nResponding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations \nResolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed\nEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed\nSkills and experiences:\nTo ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) and LPG (CONGLP1), or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.\nProven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions\nWorking knowledge of the servicing and maintenance of gas appliances\nAbility to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling\nRecent experience of undertaking a similar role\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
