We will make adjustments throughout your application process, in line with Sanctuary’s commitment to our Disability Confident employer status.\nInformation Security Officer\nWorcester based with a balance of home and office working\n£46,575- £49,012 per year\n35 hours per week\nWe are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join our Technology Security team within the Group’s Technology Department. The team consists of 4 people who are responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Group’s data and technology. They do this by providing security expertise to staff to develop a culture of security, awareness, compliance, and inclusion throughout the Group. If you have a passion for the security and privacy of individuals and systems this may be the role for you.\nThe role of Information Security Officer will include:\nSupporting the development and maintenance of information security policies and processes to ensure data, systems and applications are secure and robust\nProviding support and advice to staff and partners on governance and compliance frameworks, policies and procedures as needed\nSupporting the effective resolution of customers’ security issues and queries\nLiaising with the Technology Service Desk to ensure a high-quality level of customer service is provided\nCarrying out appraisals of new and existing processes and their suitability to meet the future needs of the Group whilst meeting security requirements\nIdentifying risks and vulnerabilities and raising awareness of these information security issues\nPromoting digital health and wellbeing\nSkills and experiences:\nDegree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification\nWorking knowledge of information security practices in a large and complex organisation\nProven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads\nExperience of resolving technical security related issues\nExperience of information security tools\nKnowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST\nExperience of data protection, UK legislation and GDPR\nAbility to extract and interpret computerised data\nKnowledge of the Data Protection Act and its application\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills\nWhy work for us?\nWe provide homes and care for more than 250,000 people in England and Scotland.
