We will make adjustments throughout your application process, in line with Sanctuary’s commitment to our Disability Confident employer status.\nMobile Caretaker\nEly, Cambridgeshire\n£26,442 - £27,833 per year\n40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 15:30pm\nWe have an opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker, to work as part of a double-up team to provide cleaning services and caretaking duties within our Sanctuary Independent Living / Supported and General Needs Housing sites. There will also be some lone-working and a company vehicle for business use only is available within the double-up team to be shared.\nThe role of Mobile Caretaker will include:\nGeneral cleaning (including kitchens, shower rooms and bathrooms / vacuuming / dusting / mopping)\nSome caretaking tasks as required as part of the service delivery, jetting, Bulky uplifts and compliance testing on an adhoc basis\nCarry out risk assessments to identify and report any potential maintenance issues, to ensure a safe environment is maintained and to support planned maintenance programmes\nEnsure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures\nEnsure all supplies and stocks are ordered, maintained and stored appropriately\nMaintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing accurate and timely information on progress and respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations\nSkills and experiences:\nAble to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy\nExperience in a similar role or completing similar tasks\nSome experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads\nWorking knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines\nGood communication, interpersonal and customer care skills\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
