Within the roles you will be covering all aspects of general building repairs including plumbing, carpentry, and plaster patching. The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover areas in and around West Yorkshire.\nThe role of Multi Trade Operative will include:\nAttending occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties\nResolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed\nEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition, maintaining a suitable van stock level, and restocking these when needed in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets\nProviding accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer\nResponding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications\nSkills and experiences:\nTo ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted\nSkills in some of the following disciplines - Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting\nBasic ground working skills including basic fencing and paving\nWorking knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation\nWorking experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
