The role involves all aspects of plumbing, with the ideal candidate having experience and skills in basic carpentry, plaster patching & tiling. The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work as part of a team. A company van and power tools are provided and the successful candidate will be required to join the emergency call out rota.\nThe role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:\nAttending occupied properties to carry out repairs, fault fixing and maintenance duties \nResolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed\nEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition, maintaining a suitable van stock level, and restocking these when needed in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets\nProviding accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer\nResponding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications\nBeing on the OOH callout rota for emergencies 1 in every 12 weeks \nSkills and experiences:\nTo ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing with Level 3 preferred, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted\nAwareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation\nAdditional skills in some of the following disciplines - Joinery and Wet Trades (plastering, tiling)\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nAbility to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
