We will make adjustments throughout your application process, in line with Sanctuary’s commitment to our Disability Confident employer status.\nOperations Manager - Fire and Security\nCovering North, Northwest and Scotland\n£59,133 - £62,246 per year Plus Company Car or Car allowance\n40 hours per week, Monday to Friday\nWe have an opportunity for an Operations Manager - Fire and Security to join our Fire and Security Operational team, to cover North, Northwest and Scotland regions. Reporting to the Head of Operations - Fire and Security, you will lead and manage an effective internal operations team comprising two Service Delivery Managers and 16 engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing operational performance, responding to internal and external escalations, managing and taking responsibility for delivering regional income and expenditure accounts.\nThe role will be predominately home based with a local regional office for administration tasks managing across the regions therefore, we require an innovative and self-motivated individual with high levels of confidence and key management skills.\nThe role of Operations Managerwill include:\nManaging the recruitment, performance and development of quality staff to ensure that the required skilled staff are available to meet the needs of the service\nManaging the operational delivery of a cost effective Internal Maintenance service by operating within appropriate financial policies and procedures and agreed budgets\nAssisting in drafting and reviewing relevant policies and procedures and effectively communicate and implement these, ensuring effective application of good practice and legal compliance\nAssisting in the production and implementation of local plans that guarantee service delivery, responds to customer’s requirements and expectations, in accordance with operational requirements\nAssisting in the effective management of the Internal Maintenance service to ensure the timely achievement of business targets and contribute to the development of growth opportunities in accordance with the strategy\nDemonstrate effective external sub-contractor management skills, holding regular governance meetings and demonstration of holding accountability of external resources.\nSkills and experiences:\nTo ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HNC/HND or level 5 in fire related subject matter or full NEBOSH currently undertaking the qualification or prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group.\nPrevious experience within the fire and security operational delivery\nWorking knowledge of fire and security systems\nStrong management skills with a proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop staff\nThe ability to develop and review policies and procedures\nThis role will involve driving on company business.
