Finding the right match for this role is a critical aspect of continuing that success.\nOverview\nWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help lead a highly visible, critical telecom program focused on delivering automation across engineering activities. This individual will drive program execution, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and support the delivery of innovative technical solutions across operations, engineering, and software development environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in telecom or cable operations, software development, and technical program delivery, along with financial acumen and exceptional executive communication skills. This role requires a confident, adaptable leader who can quickly learn complex engineering concepts, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote opportunity. Please note that we do not work C2C.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and drive the delivery of a critical program focused on automating engineering activities and processes.\nManage program scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.\nPartner with engineering, software development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, concise communications for senior executives and business stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain executive-level presentations, program updates, financial models, and strategic recommendations.\nMonitor program financials, budgets, business cases, and financial models to support informed decision-making.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and engineering automation.\nQuickly develop an understanding of new engineering concepts, technical architectures, and hardware-related terminology to effectively lead program discussions and decisions.\nProactively identify risks, remove obstacles, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.\nBuild strong stakeholder relationships and maintain momentum across a highly visible and strategically important initiative.\nRequirements\n3-5 years of experience leading technical programs or projects within the telecommunications, cable, software development, or technology operations industries.\nPrevious experience delivering new technical programs, engineering initiatives, or automation-related projects.\nStrong understanding of operational processes, software development environments, and technical program delivery.\nDemonstrated experience working with financial models, budgets, business cases, and program economics.\nStrong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.\nStrong executive presence and confidence interacting with senior leadership.\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt to unfamiliar technical concepts, including hardware, engineering, and architecture terminology.\nExceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.\nHighly detail-oriented, proactive, persistent, and results-driven, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.\nDemonstrated curiosity, adaptability, confidence, and emotional intelligence.\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and maintain execution momentum without direct authority.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.\nCompensation\nFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long term consulting engagement with expected salary range of $100,000-$120,000.
