Calculation engines, projections and regulatory reporting all run on proprietary applications, where the mathematical accuracy of the output comes before everything else.\nTo support its growth, the company is looking for a profile that combines quantitative work with business analysis, to help improve its internal systems.\nThe job\nAnalyse the calculation rules and data behind the in-house applications, and turn what you find into concrete improvements to those systems.\nAct as a bridge between the business teams and the developers, translating quantitative needs into something that can be built.\nRoleModel and test calculation rules, including edge cases, thresholds and exceptions, and identify where the systems can be improved.\nVerify the results produced by the applications: independent recalculations, consistency checks and investigation of discrepancies.\nGather and challenge business needs, translate them into clear functional requirements, and take part in testing and validating what is delivered.\nDocument the models, assumptions and implementation choices made.\n\nProfileMaster’s degree in a strongly quantitative field: mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, physics, civil engineering or equivalent. This is a firm requirement.\nAround 2 to 3 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical or business analysis role.
