Join us, the future is ours to shape!Job Description\nMajor accountabilities:\nAutomation & OT/IT\nMaintain, troubleshoot and continuously improve PLC, HMI and SCADA systems \nPlan and implement automation upgrades, retrofits and migration projects\nDevelop and maintain robust OT/IT architectures and industrial networks \nIntegrate production equipment with MES, LIMS, WMS, ERP and data platforms \nImplement industrial communication technologies such as Profinet, OPC UA and MQTT \nSupport FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification and lifecycle management \nIntelligently connect production equipment, laboratory systems (LIMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS)\nOT Cybersecurity & Security Management\nAct as the site focal point for OT cybersecurity\nAssess cybersecurity risks for automation systems and OT infrastructure\nCoordinate vulnerability, patch and OT asset lifecycle activities \nDrive network segmentation, system hardening and Security-by-Design \nDefine security requirements for new equipment, modifications and retrofits \nSupport OT-security assessments, audits and cybersecurity incidents \nCoordinate security measures with IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering and external suppliers \nSupport compliance with corporate requirements and OT-security principles such as IEC 62443 \nDigital Manufacturing\nEnable connectivity between machines, OT systems and digital platforms \nDevelop Industrial IoT and Edge Computing solutions \nMake production data accessible for analytics and continuous improvement \nSupport Predictive Maintenance, manufacturing analytics and selected AI applications \nContribute to the site's digital manufacturing roadmap Drive innovation through Industrial IoT, edge computing, and predictive maintenance technologies\nWhat you’ll bring to the role:\nDegree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Science or comparable qualification\nExperience in industrial automationStrong understanding of industrial networks and OT/IT architectures\nKnowledge of Profinet, Industrial Ethernet, OPC UA and/or MQTT\nPractical understanding of OT cybersecurity, network segmentation and vulnerability management\nExperience with MES/ERP/LIMS integration or Industrial IoT is an advantage\nKnowledge of pharmaceutical GxP and computerized system requirements is an advantage\nAnalytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nHigh level of ownership and ability to work across Engineering, IT and Production\nVery good German and English communication skills \nAs part of your application, please submit your current CV as well as proof of your highest educational qualification (e.g., diploma, master’s degree, doctorate). Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement.
