The role ensures bestinclass delivery of external services and products in the FDF category- External Supply APMA to support projects and to realize yearonyear productivity improvements, cost savings, and process improvements in close collaboration with the stakeholders in the business. Working in accordance with legislation, internal rules, good practices and business objectives. Management and development of associates.\nYour Key Responsibilities:\nYour responsibilities include, but not limited to:\nImplement category strategic goals from overall Procurement strategy / Ecosystem management: Planning, organizing, and managing projects considering priorities, resources, budgets, issues and constraints to achieve desired results; defining clear project scope and objectives; utilizing software and tools to plan, track and report status.\nMapping the value chain, analyzing it and deriving potential scenarios. Includes the understanding and application of total cost of ownership and should cost modelling.\nParticipating in and / or leading financial discussions. Applying financial knowledge to participate actively, e.g., in budgeting process, including tax aspects in sourcing strategies and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners.\nCompliance & risk management: supporting reports to determine appropriate compliance level. Monitoring endtoend compliance (budget, payment, vendor PO, contract invoice, buying channel, etc.) and deriving corrective actions to improve compliance.\nProjecting the dynamics and impacts (e.g. mergers and acquisitions). Extracting, cleansing and consolidating information to factbased insights for further usage e.g. in category strategies.\nMaintaining and updating Procurement applications accordingly to the Procurement content (e.g. ecatalogs, user portal). Continuous improvement of procurement content and automation.\nSupport definition and implementation of Procurement tools and processes. Managing data analysis and reporting, e.g. analyzing spend, demand, supply markets and competitors.\nResponsible to ensure the right balance between business needs and Sandoz strategy. Accountable to work with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.\nSourcing and supplier relationships management: Provision of strategies, approaches, and methods to allow for execution of the Source to Contract process:\nPreparing and conducting fact-based negotiations. Providing a broad portfolio of negotiation strategies to achieve results that support business and Procurement objectives:\nProactive assessment of new ways of working, involving innovative scientific & technical solutions by identifying and onboarding the right suppliers.\nAchieving results by proactively building longterm, sustainable and effective relationships, understanding the stakeholder landscape and demonstrating political astuteness across business structures and networks.\nProviding conditions for and control of the implementation of HSE tasks and requirements in the unit.\nOther tasks determined during the annual objectives setting process and by KPIs.\nOther tasks as assigned by the supervisor and tasks based on a specific appointment.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role:\nEssential Requirements:\nUniversity/Advanced degree is required.
