This role demands a deep technical background in software Deployment and Release management, security practices, and operations, with a focus on creating secure, scalable, and efficient deployment pipelines.\nAll duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. Team Members are required to observe the company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nDefine, champion, and implement a robust DevSecOps strategy that aligns with business objectives, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance.\n\nDevelop and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps frameworks that support rapid and reliable software delivery while embedding security at every stage of the development lifecycle.\n\nDrive the integration of advanced security practices into the development lifecycle, including threat modeling, automated security testing (SAST/DAST), and comprehensive vulnerability management.\n\nDesign and oversee secure deployment strategies for single and multi-tenant environments, ensuring optimal resource isolation and performance.\n\nCollaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for code, database, and architecture optimization through performance, load, stress, and chaos testing.\n\nDrive platform observability by integrating monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).\n\nSupport multi-tenant platform environments, ensuring isolation, security, and predictable performance across workloads to support mission-critical applications.\n\nLead continuous platform improvements through automation, standardization, and reliability engineering practices.\n\nPlan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end software releases across multiple environments, ensuring alignment with business timelines and deployment readiness.\n\nDefine and enforce standardized release management processes, including versioning, change control, and rollback strategies.\n\nPerform job duties in a safe manner.\n\nAttend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 21 years of age.\n\nProof of authorization to work in the United States.\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.\n\n10+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Release Engineering, or Performance Engineering roles in large-scale distributed systems.\n\nExpertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for automating build and deployment processes.\n\nStrong knowledge of release management practices, including versioning, change control, release orchestration, and rollback strategies.\n\nExtensive experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) for maintaining system configurations.\n\nDeep understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments, including performance tuning and deployment strategies.\n\nDeep knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration for deploying and managing applications at scale.\n\nDemonstrated experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.\n\nStrong experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security configurations and best practices.\n\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating workflows and integrations.\n\nExceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to influence and guide diverse teams and stakeholders.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, focused on delivering innovative and secure solutions.\n\nProven track record of driving cultural change within organizations, fostering a proactive approach to security and DevSecOps practices.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey release risks, performance insights, and readiness status to technical and business stakeholders.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to:\nPhysically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nWork indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.\n\nUtilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the
