Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nDefine and drive the architectural vision for the casino management system (CMS), ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry regulations.\n\nDevelop architectural blueprints that outline system components, modules, and data flow from initial concept through deployment, focusing on scalability and performance.\n\nOversee the complete software development lifecycle for the CMS, from requirement gathering and design to implementation, testing, and launch.\n\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including gaming operations, compliance, Enterprise Architecture, UX/UI design, and DevOps, to ensure cohesive application development.\n\nDesign robust, multi-tiered applications that utilize microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native principles, specifically tailored for casino operations.\n\nEnsure that applications adhere to security best practices and regulatory compliance, including data protection and privacy standards.\n\nAssess and select technologies, frameworks, and tools that enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability, particularly for gaming transactions and player management.\n\nIntegrate third-party gaming systems, payment gateways, and APIs to create a seamless ecosystem for casino operations.\n\nImplement comprehensive testing strategies, including automated testing, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets user expectations.\n\nIdentify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, optimizing performance for high transaction volumes and real-time data processing.\n\nEstablish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines specific to gaming applications.\n\nConduct code reviews and technical audits to ensure compliance with architectural standards and regulatory requirements.\n\nMentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation.\n\nLead training sessions on architectural principles and gaming-specific technologies to enhance the team’s capabilities.\n\nAct as a key technical liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating architectural decisions, project status, and timelines.\n\nFacilitate discussions on architectural strategy and decisions, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.\n\nPerform job duties in a safe manner.\n\nAttend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 21 years of age.\n\nProof of authorization to work in the United States.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.\n\n10+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in architectural design and leadership roles, specifically in casino or gaming environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience successfully leading software projects from inception to launch.\n\nDeep expertise in application architecture patterns, including microservices and serverless architectures, tailored for high-availability systems.\n\nProficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in frameworks like Spring, .NET, or Node.js.\n\nExtensive knowledge of relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) database design and performance tuning, particularly for transactional systems.\n\nStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services relevant to application development and deployment in the gaming industry.\n\nFamiliarity with application security principles and compliance standards specific to the gaming industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).\n\nExpertise in Agile development practices and a strong understanding of the DevOps culture.\n\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including regulatory bodies and executive leadership.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to:\nPhysically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nWork indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.\n\nUtilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the
