A strong understanding of the technology landscape and industry acumen is necessary to effectively analyze business requirements, workflows, and best practices in collaboration with enterprise architects, application developers, consultants, and vendors. Proficient and concurrent management of diverse projects, ranging from system implementations to organizational efficiency initiatives to business development opportunities, is required. The Sr Project Manager - IT must be able to develop comprehensive requirements documents, define scope in the form of project charters, create detailed project plans / schedules, identify, and mitigate risks / issues and lead a cross-functional team to deliver the project scope. The ability to professionally engage and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including C-level executives, is a fundamental requirement for this position.\nAll duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp. policies, practices, and procedures. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nOwn the project through its lifecycle from identification of business need through project closure.\n\nLead project teams to deliver successful projects by effectively managing budget, scope, schedule, and stakeholder communications.\n\nCreate and maintain project artifacts including but not limited to charter, funding requests, business requirements, schedules, and status updates.\n\nIdentify, manage, control, and communicate scope changes through established change management processes.\n\nEvaluate commercial products against business, technical and resource requirements; determine investment feasibility.\n\nProactively detect, mitigate, and resolve issues and risks; escalate when necessary.\n\nExecute multiple projects simultaneously without compromise to standards and excellence.\n\nCommunicate effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment with technical and non-technical teams and executives to drive IT strategy and achieve organizational objectives.\n\nValidate deliverables meet organizational and customer scope and quality expectations.\n\nIdentify opportunities for execution and process improvement, including policy, standard, and guideline recommendations.\n\nCreate and maintain reporting information in graphical forms including using modeling languages, process flows, and topology diagrams, etc.\n\nFacilitate resolution of audit findings and monitor cyber risk assessment plans.\n\nBuild strong relationships across all levels of the organization and commercial partners.\n\nCommit to excellence, insisting on the highest professional standards, personally and from others.\n\n Minimum Qualifications\nAt least 21 years of age.\n\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\n\n8 years of IT industry or equivalent technical experience (e.g., engineering, software development, networking, etc.).\n\n8-10 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing technology projects.\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\n\nAdvanced understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint;
