The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skill set, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform daily maintenance tasks to ensure that healthcare facilities are fully operational, safe, and well-maintained.\nConduct routine facility inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.\nAssist with minor repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance efforts.\nRespond efficiently to maintenance requests, troubleshooting facility issues as they arise.\nWork with vendors and contractors to coordinate facility repairs and improvements.\nMaintain accurate records of completed work, safety compliance, and equipment servicing.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards for facility maintenance.\nFoster a team-oriented culture and support staff in maintaining a high standard of facility operations.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nExperience Requirements:\nTechnical Expertise & Problem-Solving\nMinimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.\nKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.\nAbility to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.\nSafety & Compliance Awareness\nUnderstanding of healthcare-related safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.\nCommitment to maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to company and industry safety protocols.\nTime Management & Prioritization\nStrong ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nEffective planning of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.\nCollaboration & Communication\nAbility to work closely with healthcare staff, facility leadership, and vendors to coordinate maintenance tasks.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to document maintenance work and provide updates.\n Technology Proficiency\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to track work orders, schedule tasks, and maintain maintenance records.\nQualifications - Other:\nCandidates applying for this position should be aware that an offer for employment in this position is contingent upon passing a comprehensive background check, encompassing criminal records and motor vehicle reports.\nCandidates must have a valid driver's license in good standing with no significant violations or restrictions within the last 3 years.\nPhysical & Working Conditions:\nMust have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs., perform repetitive motions, and work in physically demanding environments.\nExposure to outdoor conditions, dust, high noise levels, and varying temperatures.\nUse of personal protective equipment as required.\nWork may involve exposure to contagious or infectious diseases.\nThe Perks\nAt Sandstone Care, we believe that great care starts with our employees.
