Through our international network of experienced consultants, product specialists and partners, we support manufacturing customers around the world.\nYour role\nWe are looking for a motivated Application Engineer to join our GibbsCAM team in Germany.\nIn this customer-facing technical role, you will help customers get the best possible value from GibbsCAM. You will provide technical guidance, deliver training and support customers in programming complex components and manufacturing processes.\nYou will work closely with our customers, sales organization and international technical support teams.\nYour key responsibilities\nDeliver GibbsCAM training courses at our Ettlingen office, at customer sites and through remote web sessions.\nAct as a key technical contact for customers using GibbsCAM and Virtual Gibbs.\nProvide technical consulting and application support for the programming of complex components.\nAssist customers with milling, turning and multi-task machining applications.\nSupport customers by phone, email and web-based communication channels.\nShare practical knowledge and best practices in CNC machining.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of training concepts, technical documentation and training materials.\nWork closely with the German sales team and the international GibbsCAM support organization.\nYour profile\nCompleted technical or vocational training in metalworking, machining or a comparable technical field.\nA further qualification as a master craftsman, technician or engineer would be an advantage.\nPractical experience in CNC machining, particularly milling and turning.\nExperience with complex mill-turn or multi-task machines, including multiple channels, turrets, sub-spindles or B-axis configurations, would be an advantage.\nKnowledge of Swiss-style machining is desirable but not essential.\nExperience using a CAM programming system.
