We are proud to be recognized on the Forbes Top 50 Global Employers List.\nThe Role:\nTo increase the share of customer spend and deliver superior customer value by defining and optimizing customer specific solutions in collaboration with the customer.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Propose solutions to customer and assist with customer planning for implementing and or integration of individual products into mining applications\n· Provide inputs to Product Support Managers and Sales Support Managers (in Product Areas) on customers’ needs not met by current offering in order to try\n· Ensure the proposed mining method encompasses as much of Sandvik offering as possible\n· Ensure that mine feasibility studies are based on Sandvik solutions through building strong working relationships with Mining Contractors, Mining Consultants and Mining Houses\n· Develop complete sales proposals for major mining projects, concentrating specifically on capital and operating cost prediction\n· Maintain an up-to-date basic portfolio of competitor information including equipment specifications, market activities and market share\n· Support sales of new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment with justifications to mining operations using TCO models\n· Provide all necessary product information that may be required to support of sales\n· Perform mine application and equipment utilization studies\n· Support application-engineering efforts with routine productivity simulations\n· Capture, update and maintain CRM and relevant Sandvik software platforms (Aurora)\n· Competitor analysis & Needs analysis\n· Work with customers (Mining Engineer, Consultants, Design Engineer, etc.) to understand mine performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and safety.\n· Provide site visit reports\n· Financial and budgetary Reviews & reports\n· Identify & implement procedural change\n· Manage and institute performance recommendations\n· Continuous needs analysis (internal & external)\n· Manage invoices of all costs as per contract\nProfile required:\n· Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification\n· Degree in business management / Engineering\n· Certificate of competence (Mine Manager) - advantageous\n· English proficiency\n· Experience in Sales and Marketing (5 years)\n· Experience in Account Management\n· Experience in mining applications (specifically mechanised mining)\nHow to apply\nPlease apply online through Workday (ESS), or access the Sandvik website www.home.sandvik/en/careers\nApplications close: 28 October 2026\nSandvik is an equal opportunity employer, striving for practices and programs that are bias free and in which employees are treated fairly to ensure fair opportunity with the best outcome for every individual securing no discrimination on grounds including but not limited to, age, gender, gender expression, race, ethnicity, language, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
