It’s a mission that takes commitment, but as an industry leader we aim for nothing but excellence in everything we do.\nWe are looking for an hard-working and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assembler.\nThe role will report into the Assembly Manager and will be based from our offices in Spartan, Kempton Park.\nPurpose of the role:\nTo assemble different components of machine together on instruction of the team leader, foreman and assembly manager.\nThe job responsibilities:\nResponsible for executing tasks given by the Team Leader in the correct way to ensure adherence to the expected standards set by the Company.\nResponsible to complete tasks and to stay within the allowable hours per job given by your team Leader.\nChecking the suitability and quality of materials during the assembly process\nResponsible for checking the quality of the completed work prior handing it over.\nResponsible to communicate work related issues clearly to your team members and Team Leader.\nResponsible for taking care of all equipment issued and used by you.\n Responsible to know how to operate electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools and to see that they are well maintained.\nResponsible for operating equipment with care .\nEnsure that working area is clean and neat and free of safety hazards within required limits.\nResponsible for maintaining good housekeeping in your work areas on a continuous basis.\nResponsible to provide guidance and expert advice to co-workers on technical related topics.\nResponsible to coach and develop or otherwise help others in working environment.\nTo provide a positive \"can do\" approach to management.\nEnsure you abide by H&S requirements including the use of appropriate PPE where and when required.\nEnsure you follow safe work practices.\nCorrecting and reporting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.\nConduct continues risk assessments to ensure a safe workshop environment.\nResponsible for operating within the health and safety requirements prescribed\nby Kwatani and OHSAct and to immediately report any accident, injury or near miss to your Team Leader, Foreman or Manager\nQualifications & Experience Requirements:\nMust have a Grade 12 certificate\n3-5 years of solid experience in the assembling of manufactured metal components obtained in a metal industry operation.\nOther Requirements & Competencies:\nAbility to read and write and interpret instructions correctly.\nBasic understanding of vibrating equipment.\nBasic problem-solving ability.\nPractically oriented/mind.\nFollow-through ability to complete tasks.\nAbility to work under pressure.\nHonest work ethic.\nAttention to detail.\nA can-do approach with a positive attitude.\nAccuracy in work.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to follow instructions.\nAbility to engage in repetitive work.\nWhat is in it for you?\nWe offer you an interesting role in an international business environment, extraordinary products, great colleagues, and opportunities for your professional development.
