As a Systems Engineer, you will empower our organization by creating interactive and insightful reports, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing workflows through custom applications. Your contributions will directly impact on our ability to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals, making you a vital part of our team's success.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollect data from a variety of sources, including the Lean ERP, SharePoint files, QuickBase, Sales Force, and other datasets.\nIntegrate systems to streamline business processes.\nSupport SAP preparation and implementation on site.\nManage statistical metadata and assess data quality.\nHandle confidential information in a responsible manner.\nCreate mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.\nCommission and decommission datasets.\nDefine new collection techniques and identify patterns in the data.\nGenerate insights from the available information.\nWork with management to prioritize business and information needs.\nExamine trends in the data for clue to improve manufacturing efficiency.\nCreate Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps to be analyzed by management.\nCreate applications within the QuickBase environment, develop documentation, and deploy apps.\nBuild automations for internal processes.\nTranslate operational requirements into system design decisions.\nSupport functional leaders during change management, training, and stabilization.\nCreate confidence in the system by ensuring it improves, not hinders, execution on the shop floor.\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation, Experience, Licenses & Certifications\nAbility to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship\n\nBachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.\n1-2 years of systems, with hands on ERP, or digital transformation experience\nStrong understanding of ERP, production planning, inventory management, supply chain and financial flows\nHands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, reporting, governance), Low-code platforms (Quick Base or similar), Data migration and system integration (SAP)\nDemonstrated experience in locating and defining new process improvement opportunities based on data collected from an ERP system.\nSAP certification is a plus\nPower BI certification is preferred\nQuickBase certification is preferred\nRequired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities\nMust possess an analytical mindset.\nAbility to operate independently with executive-level accountability.\nStrong communication skills across IT, operations, and leadership.\nSkilled problem solver - logical and methodical approach in problem solving.\nAbility to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously independent of close supervision.\nProven experience leading ERP implementation, preferably SAP in manufacturing industry.\nProficient in data collection, statistical modeling, data mining, database management, report generation, data visualization, business process development, and data analysis.\nKnowledge of advanced methodologies like lean manufacturing and six sigma analysis\nDemonstrated capabilities to work collaboratively and cross-functionally while successfully developing and maintaining key professional and customer relationships.\nCurrent on latest technology and analytical processing best practices.\nProficient with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.\nERP knowledge (Lean or SAP) and usage a plus.\nPower BI creation and knowledge a plus.\nPower Automate knowledge is a plus.\nQuickBase knowledge and usage is a plus.\nStrong customer service focus.\nAbility to create a long-term business development plan.\nSafety and quality focus with open mind, innovative spirit.\nHigh level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.\nStrong interpersonal skills and detail oriented.\nEnsures that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Core Values and current Company Policies and Procedures\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package, including:\nHealth care coverage (medical, dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine) starting 30 days after hire.\nPaid vacation with up to 80 hours rollover.\nPaid parental leave (eligibility after 12 months)\n401(k) with 5% annual salary contribution + 50% match on the first 6% starting 90 days after hire.\nTuition reimbursement and professional development support.\nA diverse, inclusive workplace where innovation thrives.\nHow to Apply\nApply online at https://www.san dvik.com/careers.\nSandvik is an equal opportunity employer.
