At Sandvik, the Demand Planner is responsible for inventory including inventory management, strategic stock process support and operational performance reporting.\nAre you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about inventory optimization and supply chain efficiency? So now we challenge you to take it one step further and apply!\nWhat you will be doing\nAnalyze incoming equipment and optimize inventory levels across local stockrooms and designated hubs.\nManage inventory planning to maintain healthy net working capital (NWC) while supporting customer fleet needs.\nMaintain inventory parameters, standard assortments, consignment stock levels, strategic stock, and obsolescence reserves for the assigned product line.\nIdentify and implement stock optimization initiatives, including inventory returns and process improvements.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate fleet data and maintenance trends are reflected in inventory forecasts.\nProvide analysis and recommendations to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency at mine sites.\nSupport regional and global inventory initiatives and projects as required.\nWhat you will bring along\nDegree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management.\nKnowledge of inventory planning, spare parts, working capital, and excess and obsolete inventory management.\nStrong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP; Power BI is an asset.\nExperience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or aftermarket parts is preferred.\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and balance inventory costs with customer service needs.\nIn return for your passion and drive we will offer you…\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $76,560.00 - $86,130.00 with the final offer determined by the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and applicable local market conditions.\nThe opportunity to make an impact on our business performance.\nThe opportunity to be part of an ambitious team, in an industry leading business.\nThe opportunity to reach your full potential.\nOngoing development and training.\nAn excellent comprehensive compensation package including a pension plan with matching, competitive health, dental, life and disability benefits.\nOur Culture\nOur core values are the soul of the company.
