Sandvik is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student to join our Winnipeg Production Unit. You will contribute to real projects supporting the electrical systems used in underground drilling equipment while learning from experienced engineering and manufacturing professionals.\nThis fixed-term co-op opportunity is designed for a curious student who enjoys solving technical problems, collaborating across electrical, mechanical and software disciplines, and seeing designs come to life on real equipment. You will gain practical experience with electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring harnesses, bills of materials, controls and shop-floor troubleshooting. Apply today to develop your technical skills, contribute to meaningful projects and gain valuable experience with a global engineering leader in the mining industry.\nWhat you will be doing\nSupport electrical designs and technical summaries under the guidance of experienced engineering team members, helping ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.\nCreate and update electrical schematics, panel layouts and wiring-harness drawings.\nAssist with the creation, release and maintenance of bills of materials to support production.\nSupport the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.\nHelp provide technical support to production and post-sales teams by gathering information, reviewing documentation and assisting with troubleshooting.\nPrepare as-built updates to schematics, layouts and other technical drawings.\nCollaborate with electrical, mechanical and software teams, as well as production, customers and vendors, to clarify technical requirements.\nStay current with relevant electrical, automation, controls and battery-electric vehicle technologies while supporting other assigned engineering tasks.\nEnvironmental Health and Safety\nWe are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
