Working both in the workshop and on customer sites, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers maintain safe, compliant and productive operations.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and field service experience who is looking to develop their technical skills while working with industry-leading equipment and technology.\nThis position operates on 8 days on, 6 days off (8/6) roster and will involve travel to customer sites across Western Australia.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, service, maintain and repair fire suppression systems on mining equipment and machinery.\nConduct fault-finding and diagnostic work using hydraulic and electrical schematics.\nComplete equipment audits and inspections, providing recommendations to improve reliability and performance.\nSupport the commissioning of new equipment and assist with new product implementation activities.\nMaintain accurate service records, reports, warranty claims and other documentation.\nAssist with training and accreditation activities relating to fire suppression systems.\nLiaise with customers and internal stakeholders to provide technical support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.\nPromote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with site, industry and company standards.\nParticipate in field service activities, including travel to customer sites and occasional on-call requirements.\nAbout You\nYou are a customer-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic field-based environment. You enjoy solving technical problems, take pride in delivering quality work and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards.\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nExposure to field service work and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.\nExperience with fire suppression systems and/or fire equipment servicing (highly regarded).\nStrong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding capabilities.\nA strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental standards.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.\nSound time management, reporting and problem-solving abilities.\nComputer literacy and a professional approach to stakeholder engagement.\nFPA Certificate II in Asset Maintenance (desirable).\nTo be eligible for this role, you must have the right to live and work in Australia.
