This role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international freight movements, supporting freight operations, maintaining accurate transport data, and ensuring a high level of service is delivered to both internal and external stakeholders.\nWorking within a collaborative team environment, you will play a key role in managing freight activities, resolving transport issues, processing freight invoices, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate domestic and international freight movements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.\nProcess freight invoices and assist with carrier dispute resolution.\nMaintain accurate records within SAP and Transport Management Systems.\nObtain freight quotations and support ad-hoc transport requirements.\nMonitor carrier performance and investigate freight delays or service issues.\nLiaise with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth freight operations.\nProvide advice on appropriate freight and shipping methods.\nSupport reporting activities through accurate data entry and maintenance.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across freight and logistics operations.\nDeliver exceptional customer service while building strong stakeholder relationships.\nAbout You\nYou are a highly organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. You are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nYou will bring:\nPrevious experience in freight, logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similar coordination role.\nStrong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nWell-developed communication and relationship-building skills.\nThe ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.\nA strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering positive outcomes.\nThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.\nDesirable:\nExperience working with SAP and/or Transport Management Systems.\nUnderstanding of freight operations, Incoterms, shipping processes, KPIs, and service levels.\nExposure to international freight and import/export processes.\nAccounts payable or freight invoice processing experience.\nTo be eligible for this role, you must have the right to live and work in Australia.
