By analyzing demand patterns, inventory performance, and supply risks, you help maintain reliable material availability and improve supply chain efficiency. You report to the Inventory Manager.\nJob responsibilities\nMonitor inventory performance and identify risks related to shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence. \nDevelop replenishment plans and inventory strategies that balance customer requirements with inventory investment. \nCollaborate with production planning, procurement and suppliers to secure continuity of supply. \nAnalyze performance metrics and maintain inventory dashboards and planning reports. \nSupport S&OP, demand planning, and activities that address capacity constraints. \nDrive improvements in inventory accuracy, planning processes, system use, and obsolete and slow-moving inventory management. \nLocation and flexibility\nThe primary location is Malmö, with flexibility for you to be based elsewhere in Sweden. Travel is part of the job, including visits to the factory in Northern Ireland.\nYour profile\nYou bring solid experience from inventory planning, materials planning, supply chain, or production planning in a manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or aftermarket environment. With a strong analytical approach, you make sound decisions based on data, business insight, and changing supply needs.\nYour background includes\nExperience developing and implementing inventory control strategies that improve accuracy, availability, and service performance. \nKnowledge of ERP or MRP planning systems and inventory management processes. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. \nExperience collaborating across functions to resolve supply challenges and achieve shared outcomes. \nA track record in forecasting, replenishment planning, supplier collaboration and obsolete and slow-moving inventory management. \nFluency in English, verbally and in writing. \nKnowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting techniques, experience with Power BI or other reporting tools, and a relevant bachelor’s degree are advantageous.\nStructured and detail-oriented, you take initiative and stay focused when priorities shift.
