We are proud to be recognized on the Forbes Top 50 Global Employers List.\nThe Role:\nThe Junior Logistics Engineer supports the Logistics Engineering function by providing operational, analytical, and systems support across the C4 Hub in Jet Park, the Burgersfort branch, and the broader core network regions within Africa. The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse optimization, logistics systems support, data analysis, and digital transformation projects, while assisting with the implementation and optimization of SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and future SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) initiatives.\nKey Performance Areas:\nSupport daily Logistics Engineering activities across the C4 Hub, Burgersfort, and core network regions.\nAnalyse operational data to identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and performance gaps.\nDevelop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nSupport SAP system enhancement initiatives and process optimisation activities.\nAssist with the implementation, stabilisation, and optimisation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).\nSupport future SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) implementation readiness activities.\nAssist in warehouse process optimisation, layout reviews, and operational efficiency initiatives.\nSupport continuous improvement projects by collecting, analysing, and interpreting operational data.\nMaintain process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and engineering records.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support warehouse operations, inventory management, freight, and supply chain initiatives.\nProvide project coordination and administrative support for Logistics Engineering projects.\nAssist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities for new supply chain solutions.\nYour Profile:\nMinimum Requirements\nDegree in Supply Chain engineering, supply chain management, logistics and/or business administration or similar discipline\nMinimum 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience.
