Ensure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system. Direct team members and resolve inventory issues.\nMain Responsibilities:\nDirect, coordinate and assist in physical inventory, including auditing and monitoring cycle counts\n\nMaintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily\n\nTrouble shoot and analyze inventory issues/discrepancies and process accurate inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions\n\nEnsure that all operational reporting is completed and made available via applicable Sandvik systems. This includes but is not limited to LPS, unconfirmed and nil picks reporting.\n\nDrives and partners with cross-functional teams to develop and implement approved changes\n\nMonitors and directs the work of others\n\nMakes decisions and communicates work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required\n\nWarehouse administration and housekeeping\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nLeads task teams\nLeads small task teams in the warehouse to achieve the daily outcomes required. This includes:\n\nAllocation of responsibilities to individual team members\nProvision of backup support to all team members as required\nProvision of on the job coaching and guidance as and when necessary\nAnswering technical queries of team members as required\nExperience:\n3-6 years warehousing and inventory experience. Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory\ncompletion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.\nWorking knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably Blue Yonder or SAP) or plant systems, processes and procedures.\nStrong Excel and decision making skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with associates/customers.\nAbility to work specific shift, knowledge of commonly-used concepts’, practices and procedures, read, understand and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules, operate various office equipment as needed, perform simple math calculations, operate basic document and spreadsheet software.\nHigh School or equivalent experience.
