The Workshop Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical aspects of Sandvik equipment and components.\nAre you a licensed Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic? So now we challenge you to take it one step further and apply!\nWhat you will be doing\nFollow scope of work within time constraints to meet established delivery targets.\nInspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions.\nAdjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts components or systems according to scope of work.\nIdentify additional repairs, compile parts and labor estimates and communicate to the supervisor.\nTest repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance.\nComplete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts listings.\nActively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.\nStay current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices.\nBuild sound relationships with the workshop team and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations.\nSupport and act as a mentor to workshop apprentices.\nUndertake self-training and development as required.\nPerform other relevant duties as assigned by the Manager.\nEnvironmental Health and Safety \n\nWe are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
