We are proud to be recognized on the Forbes Top 50 Global Employers List.\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for a Logistics Engineer to join our Supply Chain team and provide dedicated engineering, analytical, systems and continuous improvement support across the C4 Hub, Burgersfort branch and broader Core Network.\nThis is a hands-on role that combines logistics engineering, operational performance, data analysis, process optimization and systems support. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and management to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges and implement sustainable improvements across the logistics network.\nThe role will also play an important part in supporting the ongoing development and optimization of our WMS/TMS and SAP environment, while contributing towards future SAP EWM readiness and broader supply chain digitalization initiatives.\nKey Performance Areas:\nLogistics Engineering & Operational Support\nProvide logistics engineering support to C4, Burgersfort and selected Core Network operations.\nAnalyse warehouse capacity, utilisation, material flow, layouts and operational processes.\nIdentify operational constraints, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport warehouse and logistics optimisation initiatives to improve productivity, cost and service performance.\nProvide engineering input into operational challenges, projects and business requirements.\nData, Analytics & Performance Management\nCollect, analyse and interpret operational and logistics data.\nDevelop and maintain performance reports, dashboards and analytical tools.\nIdentify trends, variances and recurring operational issues and translate these into actionable improvement opportunities.\nSupport data-driven decision-making across the logistics function.\nDevelop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for logistics initiatives and projects.\nSystems & Digitalisation\nSupport the optimisation and ongoing development of WMS/TMS and SAP processes.\nAssist with identifying system gaps, enhancement opportunities and process improvements.\nWork with operational and IT stakeholders to investigate and resolve system-related issues.\nSupport systems implementation, stabilisation and continuous improvement activities.\nContribute towards SAP EWM readiness and future warehouse digitalisation initiatives.\nContinuous Improvement & Process Optimisation\nIdentify, develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities.\nMap current and future-state processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.\nSupport standardisation of logistics processes across sites and regions.\nDevelop, review and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.\nMonitor the effectiveness and sustainability of implemented improvements.\nProjects & Business Support\nProvide logistics engineering support to operational and strategic projects.\nAssist with warehouse expansions, infrastructure changes, system implementations and process redesign.\nSupport project planning, implementation and post-implementation reviews.\nPrepare presentations, reports and recommendations for management.\nWork with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.\nYour Profile:\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.\nA Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, will be advantageous.\nRelevant professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Project Management or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modelling, reporting and dashboard development.\nWorking knowledge of Power BI, data visualisation and analytical tools is highly advantageous.\nProfessional Experience\nThe successful candidate should have a sound understanding of the following areas:\n5-8+ years of relevant professional experience in logistics engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, warehousing, distribution or a similar operational environment.\nProven experience in a logistics engineering or industrial engineering role within a complex warehouse, distribution or supply chain environment.\nDemonstrated experience working across multiple operational functions and/or sites, with the ability to understand the interaction between warehouse operations, inventory, order management, transportation, systems and customer service.\nProven experience in process optimisation, continuous improvement and operational performance improvement.\nDemonstrated experience in analysing operational data and converting insights into practical business improvements.\nExperience in warehouse capacity planning, space utilisation, warehouse layouts, material flow and process design.\nProven experience in developing and implementing SOPs, process standards, workflows and operating models.\nExperience developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment justifications and management recommendations.\nDemonstrated experience in supporting or leading logistics projects, system implementations, process changes and operational transformation initiatives.\nSystems & Digital Supply Chain Experience\nThe successful candidate should have strong exposure to technology-enabled logistics environments, including:\nProven experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP EWM.\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).\nExperience supporting WMS/TMS implementation, optimisation, stabilisation and continuous improvement.\nUnderstanding of the relationship between ERP, WMS, TMS and operational processes.\nExperience identifying system gaps, translating operational requirements into system requirements and working with IT/system teams to implement solutions.\nExposure to systems integration, automation, digitalisation and data-driven supply chain initiatives.\nExperience with Power BI, dashboard development, data modelling or other business intelligence platforms.\nExperience supporting or preparing an organisation for SAP EWM or other major warehouse system implementations would be highly advantageous.\nSenior-Level Competencies\nThe
