About the Opportunity

Working within a tight knit team, Parts Planning and Inventory Manager is to actively participate in Regional Inventory Management in ERP System to support the Mechanical Cutting parts sales area.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the global inventory management team to support demand planning, inventory strategy, and operational planning across local and regional networks. With a medium-term planning horizon, you will help ensure inventory readiness, support business growth, and align supply chain operations with future customer and market needs.

You will also provide customer service support for the Mechanical Cutting parts process, including responding to internal and external customer enquiries, assisting with parts interpretation, and managing documentation to maximise customer satisfaction and business performance. Additionally, the role contributes to performance management and continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence and long-term supply chain effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term inventory strategies to support customer demand, business growth, and service delivery.

  • Lead inventory forecasting, stock planning, and replenishment activities to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Manage inventory performance, including stock accuracy, availability, excess inventory reduction, and ERP data integrity.

  • Oversee consignment stock, remote stockrooms, and component exchange programs to improve customer support and equipment uptime.

  • Manage customer and internal support cases through Salesforce CRM, ensuring timely resolution, visibility and stakeholder communication.

  • Partner with Sales, Service, Supply Chain, and global stakeholders to align inventory strategies with business objectives.

  • Monitor and report on key inventory and operational KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional inventory team to achieve performance, service, and operational excellence.

  • Provide governance and oversight of inventory-related decisions, procurement strategies, and business continuity planning.

About you

You are a detail-oriented professional with a robust background in inventory and parts management (Ideally 5+ years of experience). Your proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, particularly your advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Power BI, sets you apart.
