This a full-time position Monday to Saturday\nReporting to the Workshop Manager, you will aid in the day-to-day operations and activities by picking and delivery spare parts to the various working areas of the workshop. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment with routine supervision and be able to understand detailed instructions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLiaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores’ operations.\nWeighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions;\nReceiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials\nAssist with inventory control;\nPrepare shipping documentation;\nEnsure parts are delivered to the correct department\nEnter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems\nUndertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions\nImplement quality control techniques and procedures.\nGeneral warehouse and workshop maintenance and housekeeping.\nSafety and Compliance\nComply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.\nConduct hazard identification and risk assessments before work.\nEnsure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nExercise Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions are identified.\nYour profile\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ warehouse/stores experience in a Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing environment and a current Forklift license is essential. You will be comfortable with new systems and processes and adaptable to learning environments. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and be on your feet 6-8 hours/day.\nYou are computer literate in the Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with implementing and driving OH&S policies and procedures.\nYou will have drive, flexibility, high level of energy and enthusiasm, display excellent communication and customer relations skills. Additionally, you are able to collaborate and work with members of the wider team.
