In this role, you will ensure all daily and routine payroll activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with applicable corporate policies and government legislation. So now we challenge you to take it one step further and apply!\nWhat you will be doing\nProcesses bi-weekly payroll and supports year-end reconciliation and reporting.\nMonitors and actions daily Workday/Dayforce integration transactions, job logs, PIR reports, and monthly audits; collaborates with the Workday coordinator to resolve discrepancies.\nValidates weekly Workday reports for salary changes, transfers, hires, and terminations for assigned payroll groups and updates Payroll Specialists accordingly.\nManages Dayforce tasks including new hire and employee transfers, role access maintenance, and quarterly audits.\nExports and validates weekly employee pension election files and supports quarterly pension and group benefits audits.\nPrepares and submits bi-weekly payroll post-commit reports to finance managers across business units.\nMaintains the payroll common inbox, responding to employee and manager inquiries in a timely manner.\nAssists with timesheet validation and time-away-from-work requests.\nCollaborates with Dayforce Support to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.\nContributes to ongoing improvement of payroll processes through proactive problem-solving and teamwork.\nAssists with other payroll-related tasks and projects as assigned.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEnvironmental Health and Safety\nWe are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
