About your job

As Product Owner for Hybrid Cloud, you own the service direction, roadmap, backlog, and governance for Sandvik’s hybrid infrastructure services. The focus is on making services easy to consume, reducing operational complexity, and increasing automation while ensuring high-quality service delivery through strategic partner governance. You also act as Service Owner, ensuring services continuously evolve in line with business and stakeholder needs.

Job responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hybrid cloud services.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business needs, value, and strategic direction.
• Govern service delivery partners, ensuring quality, scope, service levels, and lifecycle commitments are met.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives across core operational processes, including provisioning, patching, backup, and billing.
• Drive service governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the evolution of unified infrastructure management across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Own the budget for the hybrid cloud service area, including forecasting, cost control, and financial accountability for partner spend.

Location

This position is based in Sandviken or Stockholm.

Your profile

You bring experience from product ownership, product management, or a similar role within IT service delivery. Comfortable navigating between strategic priorities and operational governance, you know how to create clarity, manage stakeholders, and drive value in complex environments. You lead the team delivering the product through influence and clear direction - accountable for outcomes and performance, while formal people management sits with the Competence Manager

Your background includes:

• Experience owning or managing infrastructure, hybrid cloud, or managed services in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience prioritizing backlogs and governing delivery based on business context and stakeholder needs.
• Strong vendor and partner management skills, including accountability for quality, scope, and delivery outcomes.
• Understanding of service lifecycle management, service catalogues, governance, and financial responsibility.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to negotiate value, manage costs, and hold partners accountable to commercial outcomes - not just delivery
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

We see it as a plus if you have experience with agile product practices, ITIL, Microsoft Azure, Azure Arc, AIOps, or cloud financial governance.

Success in this position comes from combining a structured and accountable approach with strong collaboration and communication skills. You’re comfortable making decisions, managing competing priorities, and building trusted relationships across technical and business communities. A proactive mindset and a passion for automation help you create sustainable improvements and long-term value.
