The Production Unit Manager will determineworkforce requirements, monitorproduction to ensure customer requirements are met, troubleshoot production problemsand take preventive or corrective action.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nOversee all plant and production workflow.\n\nProvide constructive and timelyperformance feedback to direct reports.\n\nPartners with HR to recruit, interview, train, and hire direct reports.\n\nHandles discipline and termination of direct reports in accordance withcompany policy.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nAnalyzes work orders to estimate employee hours and create machining schedules to meet internal and external needs.\n\nInterprets specifications, blueprints, work orders, and assigns duties.\n\nDirects workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair tools which fail to meet standards.\n\nEstablishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.\n\nDevelops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and tool quality.\n\nSuggestschanges in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.\n\nAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assistsworkers in solving work problems.\n\nProvides leadership to manufacturing personnel to enhance high performancework teams and promote a positive employee relations climate.\n\nInterprets and enforces government and company policies and safety regulations.\n\nConfers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.\n\nReport weekly on top objectivesand company performance.\n\nDaily communication with the sales team and customers.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor'sdegree is preferred but not required.\n\nMinimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment;
