As the fastest growing company in our industry, the career opportunities are numerous and the pathways for advancement nearly limitless.\nJob Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer and company standards by inspecting end mills and form tools at the end of production. Responsibilities include inspection and test of product, process audits and disposition of non conforming product. Coordinating the use, calibration, and servicing of all inspection equipment.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nInspect cutting tools manufactured within extremely tight tolerances. \nExamine tools for proper geometry within blueprint specifications. \nCompare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness of and accuracy of order. \nApprove or reject items, and record inspection and disposition data. \nInspect incoming raw material, thin film coating, vendor supplied tooling, grinding wheel geometric configurations and final inspections. \nPrepare inspection procedures for reference use in subsequent inspections. \nRun inspection programs for in-process process and final inspection. \nAssist in etching product identifications. \nOther duties as assigned. \n Education and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-3 years industry related experience and/or training. \nCertification from a qualified training institution in the field of tool and cutter grinding is ideal but not required. \nManufacturing experience is required. \nStrong geometry knowledge is required. \nExperience with hand gauges and non contact-contact inspection equipment is required. \n Required Skills/Abilities:\nAbility to convert metric to inch and decimal to fractions. \nStrong analytical troubleshooting ability. \nUses standard operating procedures to guide own work and solve standard problems. \nApplies basic skills to perform simple activities. \nUnderstands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others. \nUses communication skills to exchange information. \nUse assigned methods, tools and processes.
