This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise, customer engagement, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, collaborative environment.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Training & Center Specialist, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and evaluating machine demonstrations and technical activities that support customer visits, training programs, events, field testing, and sales initiatives. You will help ensure our Center operates efficiently while creating memorable experiences that strengthen our brand and drive business growth.\nWorking closely with Center Specialists, Training teams, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, you will contribute to the development and execution of activities that showcase Sandvik Coromant's solutions and capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, prepare, execute, and evaluate machine demonstrations, customer tests, technical events, and training activities.\nSupport customer visits and ensure an exceptional customer experience within the Center.\nCoordinate facility operations, machine time allocation, equipment maintenance, and the setup of new equipment.\nDevelop customized demonstration schedules and technical support materials.\nSupport Center certification initiatives and ensure compliance with global standards.\nGather and analyze customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to identify business opportunities.\nSupport quality processes by monitoring results, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, Training, and Product teams to maximize Center utilization and business impact.\nDrive digitalization initiatives through innovative technologies such as e-learning, virtual demonstrations, connectivity solutions, and virtual reality.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities related to Center operations.\nBuild and maintain partnerships with CAM software suppliers and other strategic stakeholders.\nBenchmark best practices and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, customer value, and business performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a metal cutting, machining, or manufacturing environment.\nAdvanced knowledge of CAM and CNC programming.\nStrong understanding of machining processes, tooling applications, and manufacturing technologies.\nExperience supporting technical demonstrations, customer testing, or application engineering activities.\nFluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems such as Dynamics or similar ERP/CRM platforms.\nPreferred Competencies\nProject management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nStrong planning, organizational, and time management skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.\nCommercial awareness with an understanding of sales and marketing principles.\nExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.\nExcellent teamwork and collaboration skills.\nA continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation and digitalization.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn this role, you will:\nDeliver high-quality demonstrations and technical support that create value for customers.\nHelp expand Center utilization and contribute to business growth initiatives.\nFoster strong collaboration across functions and external partners.\nContinuously improve processes, efficiency, and customer experiences.\nAct as an ambassador of the Sandvik Coromant brand and technical expertise.\nBenefits\nSandvik offers a comprehensive total compensation package including a competitive benefits package of health, dental and disability insurance, and a 401(k)-retirement savings plan.
