In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and deliver technical training that supports current business priorities and future competency needs. You will turn complex product and system information into practical, engaging learning experiences for employees, Sales Areas, customer trainers, and other stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Do (and Why It’s Important)\nDevelop training modules, lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, and hands-on activities for the BHEV Academy and Load & Haul Training Academy.\nCreate, standardize, and maintain accurate technical training materials for products, systems, and related safety practices.\nDeliver classroom, workshop, virtual, and hands-on technical training to internal and external stakeholders.\nPartner with technical experts and training leaders in Camarillo and Turku to align training plans and priorities.\nAssess organizational and customer competency needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.\nDevelop practical training aids, demonstrations, exercises, and supporting materials.\nGather learner and stakeholder feedback and use it to continuously improve the training offering.\nSupport trainer certification and maintain accurate training, competency, and certification records.\nEvaluate third-party training programs when appropriate.\nWhat We’re Looking For (and Why You’re a Great Fit)\nFive or more years of experience in engineering, technical support, technical instruction, training, or education.\nStrong instructional-design skills and knowledge of adult-learning and competency-based training principles.\nAbility to translate complex engineering information into clear, audience-appropriate content.\nKnowledge of battery-electric vehicle systems, battery technology, charging systems, and related electrical, mechanical, maintenance, and safety practices.\nStrong project-management, organizational, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning-management systems is a plus.\nAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.\nBachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, operations, or manufacturing engineering; automotive technology; or another related technical field is preferred.\nRelevant teaching credentials, career and technical education credentials, certified trainer or instructional designer credentials, adult education qualifications, or training-management certifications may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.\nWhat’s in It for You (and Why You’ll Love It Here)\nYou will join a team that truly values you and your contributions.
