This includes receiving goods, booking deliveries into stock, picking and dispatching orders, carrying out stock control activities and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.\nWith our Ballygawley site continuing to grow, this is an exciting time to join a world-leading engineering business and support Sandvik’s purpose of advancing the world through engineering.\nKey Responsibilities\nGoods Receipt & Booking On\nReceive and unload inbound deliveries safely and efficiently. \nCheck deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation. \nBook goods into the warehouse management/ERP system accurately and in a timely manner. \nReport any shortages, damages or discrepancies to the Warehouse Co-ordinator or Supervisor. \nEnsure all received materials are correctly labelled and stored.\nStock Control\nCarry out stock movements and inventory transactions accurately. \nParticipate in cycle counts and annual stock takes. \nAssist in investigating stock discrepancies. \nMaintain stock accuracy through adherence to warehouse processes. \nPicking & Dispatch\nPick materials and products accurately according to customer or production requirements. \nPrepare and pack orders for dispatch. \nEnsure all dispatch documentation is completed correctly. \nLoad vehicles safely and securely in accordance with company procedures. \nWarehouse Operations\nStore materials in designated locations. \nOperate material handling equipment safely and effectively. \nMaintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness. \nSupport continuous improvement activities within the warehouse. \nHealth, Safety & Quality\nFollow all company Health & Safety procedures and site rules. \nWear and maintain required PPE. \nReport hazards, near misses and incidents promptly. \nEnsure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures. \nMaintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. \nEssential Qualifications & Skills\nPrevious warehouse or stores experience. \nGood attention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to work as part of a team. \nGood communication skills. \nBasic computer skills. \nAbility to work safely and follow procedures.\nPreferred Qualifications & Skills\nExperience using ERP systems such as Infor M3 or similar. \nExperience using hand held scanning systems \nForklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach). \nExperience within a manufacturing environment. \nKnowledge of inventory control processes. \nWork Environment\nOn-site Warehouse environment in Ballygawley \nDay shift, 40 hours per week \nMonday-Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm \nFriday: 7:00am - 1:00pm \nCompany Description\nSandvik Rock Processing Solutions is part of the global Sandvik Group and a leading supplier of equipment, tools, parts, and services for the crushing and screening industry.
