This a full-time position Monday to Friday (2-10pm or 6am-2pm).\nReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will aid in the day-to-day operations and activities in the Warehouse. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment with routine supervision and be able to understand detailed instructions.\nAreas of Responsibility\nLiaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores’ operations.\nWeighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions;\nReceiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials\nConduct project work;\nAssist with inventory control;\nPrepare shipping documentation;\nEnter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems\nUndertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions\nConduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes;\nImplement quality control techniques and procedures.\nGeneral warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.\nYour profile\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ warehouse/stores experience in a Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing environment and a current Forklift license is essential. You will be comfortable with new systems and processes and adaptable to learning environments.\nYou are computer literate in the Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with implementing and driving OH&S policies and procedures.\nYou will have drive, flexibility, high level of energy and enthusiasm, display excellent communication and customer relations skills. Additionally, you are able to collaborate and work with members of the wider team.
