Make an impact.\nTake the next step and apply today!\nWhat you will be doing\nOversee all aspects of workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards.\nManage work orders, communicate with customers on progress and changes, and assist in quote preparation.\nDevelop and implement processes to achieve workshop targets and business goals.\nMonitor job costs, control expenses within budget, and recommend capital improvements.\nLead, train, and motivate the workshop team, ensuring performance aligns with company policies.\nStay updated on industry developments and recommend improvements to processes and practices.\nEnsure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment.\nMaintain clear communication with customers, ensuring timely delivery of committed projects.\nUphold company values and support community initiatives.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat you will bring along\nPost secondary education in a mechanical, electrical, or related technical discipline.\nAt least 5-7 years of experience in related industries; experience with Sandvik equipment is an asset.\nDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.\nSolid business acumen, aligning operational goals with business objectives.\nProficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools, including Maximo, PowerBI, and Salesforce.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail, with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nProven ability to manage changing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively.\nFlexible, self-motivated, and proactive, with a track record of taking initiative.\nHighly developed organizational and time management skills.\nEnvironmental Health and Safety\nWe are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
