You’ll work across the frontend and backend to build new features, troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, and help ensure our applications remain reliable, scalable, and maintainable.\nYou’ll work as part of an Agile engineering team, collaborating with Product, QA, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software and continuously improve the customer experience.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.\nDesign, build, and support REST APIs and backend services.\nDevelop and optimize MySQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.\nBuild and maintain asynchronous processing using Redis and BullMQ.\nDevelop real-time application functionality using WebSockets.\nTroubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.\nImprove application performance, reliability, and maintainability through ongoing code improvements.\nDeploy and support applications running in Docker and Kubernetes environments.\nWrite and maintain automated tests and participate in code reviews.\nFollow secure software development and API security practices.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\n3-5 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.\nStrong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience building and consuming REST APIs.\nStrong working knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.\nExperience with Redis and BullMQ or similar background-processing technologies.\nExperience with WebSockets or other real-time application technologies.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD practices.\nExperience writing automated software tests.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.\nAble to go into the office. \nPreferred\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExposure to microservices architecture.\nExperience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.\nExperience with application monitoring and observability tools.\nExperience in SaaS, telecommunications, UCaaS, CCaaS, or other high-availability applications.\nBenefits\nWhy Join Sangoma?\nAt Sangoma, we value our employees and provide benefits designed to support their professional growth, financial security, and overall well-being.\nHealth & Medical Coverage.
