This role will ensure the achievement of operational targets while maintaining a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient work environment.\nWhy Join Sanimax\nCompetitive wages\nSchedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Weekends as needed.\nGroup Insurance Plan\nPension Plan\nOvertime as required\nResponsibilities\nDiagnose and resolve issues encountered on production equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.\nPerform troubleshooting and repair tasks on both electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, transformers, and other plant equipment.\nCarry out preventative maintenance, installation, improvement, and repair activities of plant equipment as required, ensuring accurate maintenance records are kept.\nEnsure plant and equipment are maintained and operated in line with industry standards and operational requirements.\nWork closely with the EH&S Officer to ensure safety and environmental compliance across the team.\nCollaborate with production teams and external vendors for troubleshooting and system diagnostics.\nParticipate in emergency equipment repairs and on-call duties as required.\nContribute to continuous improvement activities by suggesting ideas for enhancing system performance and plant efficiency.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nRequirements and Skills\nDiploma in Industrial Mechanics (or equivalent) or relevant work experience.\n5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, ideally with electromechanical system experience.\nExperience in manufacturing or food processing industries (preferred).\nCertification in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation-related fields.\nWelding skills would be an asset.\nExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and openness to learning new software tools.\nShift Work: Must be available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
