Your strategic vision and operational excellence will drive the success of these projects, ensuring they deliver results aligned with our mission. For the right candidate, there’s potential to grow into broader leadership responsibilities within our US engineering organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn project delivery end-to-end: from conception through commissioning.\nPrepare and maintain the annual capital expenditure plan: define scope, budget, schedule, and conditions.\nCoordinate resources and clearly communicate timelines and expectations to all stakeholders.\nMonitor project progress and status; proactively identify and mitigate risks.\nChampion safety, sustainability and innovation throughout every stage of your projects.\nDrive continuous improvement: seek feedback, optimize processes and mentor junior team members.\nWork closely with senior leadership to align project goals with operational and business strategies.\nQualifications\nDiploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline strongly preferred; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.\n5 to 7 years of experience managing projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical/engineering design tools.\nProven leadership ability: strong communicator, rapport builder and decision maker.\nExpert planning, organization, budgeting and financial management skills.\nSkilled in risk identification and mitigation with a proactive mindset.\nAlignment with Sanimax mission, vision and values, and a passion for sustainability.\nExperience with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning project management.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and guide complex engineering solutions in industrial settings.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing industrial projects in liquid or solid processes.\nKnowledge of automation and controls including PLC/HMI, OT systems.\nUnderstanding of electrical distribution and industrial communication protocols.\nAbout Sanimax\nFor over 85 years, Sanimax has been a leader in sustainability by reclaiming used cooking oil, meat, and organic by-products from the agri-food industry.
