How about a stable job that offers excellent advancement opportunities, all while helping build a greener future?\nThis job is for you!\nWe are looking for a production operator to join our team in Calgary!\nThe production operator purpose is to transfer incoming raw product from tanker trucks and operate specialized equipment to further process the raw material into a dried finished product under strict guidelines that is packaged for shipment.\nWhy Join Sanimax :\nCompetativew hourly wage starting at 27.55$ with an increase to 28.07$ after 3 months.\n\nProgressive wage scale from 27.55$ up to 37.13$\n\nSteady and prédicable work schedule; working twelve hour shifts on a day and night rotation.\n\nDay shift hours are from 6h00 - 18h00 and night shift from 18h00 - 6h00\n\nTeam work and collaborative work environnement\n\nDuties and responsibilities:\nUnloading of animal blood with the use of hoses and pumps;\n\nLab testing of incoming animal blood to ensure that it meets operational guide lines;\n\nPrepare and clean the tanker using an automated and manual washing system;\n\nSeparation, Concentration and Drying of raw product;\n\nBagging of finished product in powder format, while wearing protective mask.\n\nCarrying and pilling 25 kg (55 lbs) bags of finished products or chemicals.\n\nOperate specialised equipment to further process the finished product for shipment.\n\nFollow samples procedures for third party lab tests.\n\nClean any process spill (animal blood and similar product)\n\nMonitor and record process data on a computer\n\nDocumentation: maintain all required documentation related to their duties.\n\nHouse Keeping: Clean equipment and floors are per process and house keeping rules.\n\nQualifications:\nGrade twelve education or equivalent\n\nPrevious experience as an equipment operator\n\nKnowledge in HACCP\n\nAbility to work under minimal supervision\n\nWork in a multi-cultural team environment\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nAbility to communicate in English\n\nPhysical requirements:\nStanding for extended periods of time\n\nAbility to lift 55 Lbs repetitively\n\nBe in good physical condition\n\nGive meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!\nFollow us on LinkedIn\nThank you for your interest in joining our team.
