Looking for an employer who believes in supporting your professional development?\nThis job is for you!\nWe are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious individual with strong leadership skills to join our Montréal facility as an Industrial Electrician Technician, reporting to the Maintenance Team Area Supervisor.\nWhy Join Sanimax:\nPermanent full-time position\nSalary: $41/hour\nComprehensive group insurance plan\nTelemedicine services\nEmployer-contributed retirement plan\nGym and fitness activity reimbursement\nOn-site gym\nOngoing training provided\nSchedule:\nMonday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts:\n7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.\n3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.\n11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.\nRequirements\nCollege diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics or Electromechanics;\n Valid Licence C or Apprentice Licence C card is required;\n3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, and troubleshooting;\nKnowledge of Rockwell automation systems (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, SLC500);\nExperience with motors, starters, and variable frequency drives (VFDs);\nStrong understanding of PLCs and control system wiring;\nExperience calibrating and maintaining measurement instruments (temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH);\nKnowledge of industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, IO-Link, HART) is an asset;\nKnowledge of 600V electrical distribution systems;\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications;\nFunctional English;\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment;\nStrong teamwork skills, autonomy, and commitment to safety.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment;\nService and maintain measurement instruments and process control devices for temperature, pressure, flow, level, and pH;\nInstall, diagnose, configure, and troubleshoot motors, variable frequency drives, and starters connected to automation systems;\nUnderstand and troubleshoot PLC logic and operation;\nPerform PLC and control I/O wiring;\nConduct daily electrical testing (continuity, current, voltage, and resistance) and diagnose equipment failures;\nRepair, install, test, and commission equipment such as electrical control systems, transformers, regulators, motors, and generators;\nTrack deficiencies, repairs, corrective actions, and assigned work orders;\nInterpret and apply Electrical Code requirements to ensure compliance;\nProvide work status updates and technical documentation revisions as required;\nEnsure proper use of materials, work methods, procedures, and safety practices;\nSupport and promote the company culture, including 5S, waste management, teamwork, mutual respect, and accountability.\nEnglish proficiency is required to effectively support and communicate with English-speaking colleagues and business partners as part of the responsibilities of this position.\nGive meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!\nFollow us on LinkedIn\nThank you for your interest in joining our team.
